I came across this in my first viewing of Season 1 of Alias. And if you blink you can miss it. But there is a scene in episode 9 (Alias) (see the Alias screen caps) that is reminiscent of a certain scene at the end of Season 1 of Lost. I can't help but think (after hearing J.J. Abrams speech at TED) that the opening of this little mystery box, however brief and inconsequential it was in Alias, was the seed for an entire new television show.
Now if I could only find the germination of Alias somewhere in Felicity the world would be complete.
