wordle is awesome

I was reading this article in wired  which compared a number of the speeches from the Democratic and Republican conventions using the online visualization tool, wordle , an application that creates word clouds that show you the frequency at which words occur within that text (the more often, the bigger the font size).

Check it out.

The first image is Martin Luther King's "I have a dream speech".
The second is from Macworld 2007 and Steve Job's announcement of the first iPhone.
The third is the transcript of a speech Stephen Harper delivered in 1997 in Montreal to a meeting of the Council for National Policy
The fourth is cnn.com
and the fifth is my delicious account keywords.

Careful, it's a little bit addictive.
