A few weeks ago I had the good fortune of hearing a panel discussion on web entrepreneurship at Mesh08. One of the panelists was a dude by the fedora wearing name of Ryan Carson of Carsonified. He spoke the truth in love and left his pretense at the door.

One of his big conferences is coming up in October and if you have the chance or the time or the money or the luck or the business expense account or the good sense, make sure you're there. The schedule looks great, the speakers are hot like fire and the drinks will flow like liquid through a big machine engineered to make liquid flow fast and furious.

The Future of Web Apps conference is in London, England from Oct 8th to 10th. Maybe I'll go. Maybe you will too. First round is on me.

We need more content creators.

There are too many content reviewers... To many internet observers... too many apologists and evangelists...To many tweets twittering the latest and feeds feeding ravenous on their own selfish and anything but subtle self analytics.

We need content creators of diversity and vision and uniqueness.... risking the critical eyes of the observers in their millisecond glance and off-handed dismissals. Dancing a dirge in the mist of the vociferous fangs of the technorati and their buzzfeeds.

At least that's what I need.
